As a young woman, I struggled with wicked food cravings, binge eating, and unhealthy lab reports. I crashed mid-afternoon. I often fell asleep at my computer. (Of course, this could have been more closely related to my job as an actuarial analyst.😜)

 

To try and energize myself, I’d eat boxes of fat-free cookies and candy, and drink diet coke. Then at night, I’d mix a batch of chocolate chip cookies just to eat the dough. 

Here I was, an active young woman with a successful career and my blood work exposed elevated triglycerides and a cholesterol level of over 250. I was riding a terrifying blood sugar roller coaster that was leaving me either puffy and bloated or dangerously thin. I'd constantly berate myself because I wasn’t happy with how I looked and how I felt. 

I just wanted to feel confident and good in my body.

But that’s not the worst part.

 

My friends and family were worried about me, and I beat myself up every morning – swearing to stay off of the sweet stuff, only to succumb again at night.

The shame was the worst part. Instead of a beaming young woman with boundless energy and an optimistic outlook on life, I had bags under my eyes, I was tired and moody and felt like crap most of the time. How did this happen to me? 
 

That’s when I decided that there HAD to be a better way. 

I made it my life’s work to study the real science about food and nutrition and learn why I was struggling for so many years - and I learned how to heal my sugar addiction so I was free from binge eating and compulsive exercising.

 

I finally felt freedom with food and my body, and I learned how to eat and take care of myself that felt nurturing, rather than punishment.

Which led me to some pretty incredible results….

 

I learned how to understand and identify not only my unhealthy habits, but more importantly, what was causing them. Now, at age 55, I eat what I want, when I want. My blood work is better than normal and I feel better than ever. I don’t want to mislead you; I can still succumb to (and enjoy!)the addictive powers of sugar, potato chips and booze, but mostly, I have the awareness to right the ship when this happens. 

Now, as a health coach no longer falling asleep at my desk, I use this same process with my clients, to help them banish the bloat and energize without dieting or deprivation. I can help you connect the dots and show you exactly how you can do this too, no matter how far off track you've fallen.

Will I really see results in just 14 days?
